The Order of Canada April 14, 1999 April 14,1999,- Louise Lambert-Lagacé C.M.received the Order of Canada and was presented by His excellency Romeo Leblanc, Governor general of Canada in the following terms: " She has worked for more than twenty five years to improve the health of women and young children. Her books are considered valuable guides by thousands of canadian families. Her communications through the medium has helped improve the nation's eating habits. Her work on the board of the Diet Dispensary was most beneficial for this  organization ." Present at the investiture ceremony: see "Governor General of Canada"
